My teenager has been getting a lot of DMs lately and I’m a bit worried about who they’re talking to. I don’t want to open the messages and make it obvious I’ve been checking, is there any way to preview or read them without triggering the “seen” receipt?
There’s no way to read Instagram messages without triggering the read receipt. You can mute notifications or ask your teen to share if you’re concerned.
