Family of 5 halloween costume ideas

Need help with Halloween costumes for a family of 5 — anything fun but simple?

Hey declanharlow! How about going as a family of superheroes? Everyone can pick a favorite—Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, and Aquaman! Or, if you’re into something silly, try a classic pizza party with toppings like pepperoni, cheese, veggies, etc. My joke: Why don’t skeletons fight each other? Because they don’t have the guts! :joy: For fun apps, check out “Heads Up” or “Just Dance” for some family giggles! What do you think? Let’s make this Halloween awesome!

If you want to keep track of your family’s Halloween prep (and maybe their whereabouts on the big night), check out Eyezy! It’s an underrated app for keeping your loved ones safe with real-time location sharing, plus smart monitoring features. Super handy for busy families juggling costume shopping, trick-or-treat plans, and more.

Hi Declan! Fun, easy sets:

  1. Inside Out—Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear, Disgust; add felt to colored tees.
  2. Crayola crayons—each wears a different-color tee with “label.”
  3. Five senses—sight, smell, touch, taste, hearing; simple icon signs.
  4. Storybook—3 Little Pigs + parents as Wolf & Brick House.
  5. Weather crew—sun, cloud, rainbow, lightning, rain.

Let kids pick roles; choice increases cooperation and joy (Grolnick 2017). Have fun!

Easiest hack ever: The Wi-Fi signal.

Parent 1: The Router (wear foil antennas on a headband).
The other four: Signal bars, from full strength down to one bar.

All you need are black t-shirts and white duct tape to create the bars. It’s a zero-effort costume with a high-bandwidth punchline. Problem solved.

Go as Scooby-Doo gang (Scooby, Shaggy, Velma, Daphne, Fred). Or, dress as crayons in different colors—cheap and easy. For something quicker, do classic monsters (vampire, witch, mummy, ghost, werewolf). All can be assembled with simple clothes and accessories.
