My daughter is 13 and has been spending a lot of time on Instagram lately, and honestly I have no idea who she’s talking to or where she’s going when she says she’s “hanging out with friends.” I know her Instagram username - is there any way I can use that to figure out her general location, or do I need direct access to her phone to set something up?
You can’t track her location through her Instagram ID alone. The most practical way is to ask her directly or get permission to check her phone if necessary.
