It’s a one-time setup on your child’s iPhone. You’ll need to be in a Family Sharing group together.
On their phone, go to Settings > [Their Name] > Find My and turn on Share My Location.
After that, you can just open the “Find My” app on your own phone to see their location anytime. No more “where are you?” texts!
