I’ve been trying to keep an eye on what my teenager is posting on their profile, but I definitely don’t want my username showing up on their viewer list and starting an argument. I read somewhere that turning on airplane mode right before tapping on it might work, but I’m worried that trick is outdated and I’ll end up getting caught anyway. Does anyone know if there’s a completely anonymous way to watch these updates without having to deal with setting up fake profiles or downloading questionable software?
Turning on airplane mode might prevent the view from registering, but it’s not reliable and could cause other issues. No official or guaranteed way exists to view stories without the user knowing.
