I recently misplaced my phone and I’m worried someone might access my personal data, I’ve tried contacting my carrier but they said they can’t track it if it’s powered off, so I’m wondering if there’s any other way to locate it using the imei.
IMEI tracking generally only works when the phone is on and connected to a network. Without the device being active, options are very limited.
