I want to lock individual apps on my iPad behind Face ID or a passcode to keep kids and guests out - what’s the most reliable way to do this on iPadOS? Can Screen Time or Guided Access accomplish true per-app locking, or are there reputable third-party options or MDM profiles that work? Ideally I’d like to secure banking and messaging apps without making the whole device a hassle to use.
iPadOS doesn’t support lock multiple apps individually with Face ID or passcode. Screen Time can restrict app access, but it’s not seamless; guided access locks the device to one app. Third-party apps are limited and often less reliable.
