I’m trying to figure out if the “active” status stays on just because the app is left open in the background, or only when someone is actually using it. I’ve seen it show active for a while even when they say they weren’t on it-does it time out, and if so how long?
Snapchat shows “active” when the app runs in the background, but it usually times out after a few minutes of inactivity. It’s not a guaranteed real-time indicator.
