My teenager has been staying up way too late recently, and I’m trying to figure out if they are actively chatting with friends or just endlessly scrolling through their feed. I tried looking through the app’s standard privacy settings, but their activity status is purposely hidden and I don’t want to make it obvious that I’m snooping by changing it back myself. Has anyone found a reliable workaround or a clever way to check when they are actually active without raising any red flags?
There’s no legitimate way to see when someone is online on Instagram without their activity status visible. Any app claiming to do so is likely unreliable or risky.
